Recently, it received a 4.5 star rating by Golf Digest's "Places to Play".

Carolina National Golf Club - Bolivia
Carolina National Golf Club is a 27-hole, Fred Couples signature golf facility set along the Lockwood Folly River. Carved out of low-country marshlands, the course offers golfers an endless variety of playing experiences. Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the finest courses on the eastern seaboard. Carolina National Golf Club is also an Audubon-Certified Sanctuary Golf Course. This honor comes with the responsibility to maintain a refuge for wildlife and a healthy environment. The course was designed to accommodate all skill levels through its innovative design and multiple tee placements.

Crow Creek - Calabash
Created by architect Rick Robbins, a former Jack Nicklaus design associate, Crow Creek Golf Club is a scenic layout set on developer Jerry McLamb's 500-acre family homestead. The course boasts an imaginative layout, undulating L-93 bent grass greens, manicured Tifsport bermuda fairways and genuine hospitality of the entire staff.

Lion's Paw Links - Sunset Beach
This is an 18-hole, par-72 layout that plays 7,003 yards from the blue tees. The opening holes feature the rolling fairways and exceptional bent-grass greens that distinguish both Ocean Ridge courses. Five of the front-nine holes are doglegs that require accurate tee shots to set up successful approaches, while both par-3s demand forced carries over ponds. Lion’s Paw® was awarded a "4 Star" rating, by Golf Digest magazine’s “Places to Play”.

Lockwood Folly Country Club - Supply
At Lockwood Folly, a century of seclusion has created a setting of natural grandeur. Lockwood Folly is golf the way it should be...quiet beauty, unhurried pace, in a Willard Byrd design to challenge the best. Where the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River meet to form...paradise. The Lockwood Golf Course has consistently received "4 Stars - Places to Play" by Golf Digest and in 2002 "best residential Golf Course Community" by Myrtle Beach Sun News. Voted by Myrtle Beach Golf Magazine as a "Top 10 New Course in North Carolina", and "Most Picturesque Golf Course" finalist 2002.

Panther's Run - Sunset Beach
Playing this par-72 course, serious golfers can enjoy two distinctly different layouts in a single round. The front nine is reminiscent of the best Carolina Lowcountry courses, with wetlands in play on a number of holes. The back nine at Panther's Run was inspired by the ancient links courses of Scotland. On a series of high-ground meadows, Cate has designed a truly memorable side of golf. Panther’s Run® was named a "Top 100 Fairways" in the U.S., by Golf for Women magazine. Panther’s Run® was nominated for “Best New Courses,” by Golf Digest®.

Rivers Edge Golf Club - Shallotte
Situated upon one of the most breathtaking pieces of property that you'll ever see is one of the most spectacular courses you'll ever play. The very first day that Arnold Palmer gazed out across the Shallotte River, he remarked that this site had the potential to be something very special. He assigned one of his top project managers, Erik Larsen, to the job and the result is sensational. Six of the holes at Rivers Edge Golf Club sit high upon bluffs that overlook two miles of grassy marshlands bisected by the Shallotte River. The interior holes are equally stunning with gentle elevation changes, freshwater lakes and bent grass greens. GOLF MAGAZINE ranked it among "Top New Courses You Can Play" in 2000.

Sea Trail Plantation - Sunset Beach
